TASAM African Institute
The TASAM African Institute carries out scientific research on Africa’s history, culture, politics, economics, sociology, and geopolitics in order to provide decision makers, business and academic circles with expert information, in-depth analysis and dynamic and effective solutions.
Africa Institute is the first research institution on Africa consisting of academics studying Africa, researchers and strategists. African Studies Group, established by TASAM in December 2004, continues its work under the name of African Institute since 1 March 2006.
The establishment of TASAM African Institute is a giant step in the field of African studies in Turkey. Our scientific activities on Africa that have been neglected until now have the opportunity to cooperate with the individuals and institutions who work on similar issues both nationally and internationally.
The purpose of the TASAM African Institute is to offer alternatives and efficacious solutions to the decision makers, business and academic circles interested in Africa. The methodology of the Institute includes following up the developments in the continent, conducting researches and making evaluations about Turkey’s bilateral, regional and multilateral relations with the countries in the continent and also to the historical, cultural, political, economic, sociologic and geopolitical aspects of the continent.
